The 2nd Pornfilmfestival Berlin and Gallery Tristesse deluxe present the exhibition "Achtung FSK 18 - Vol 2" from October 20th to November 17th. Various artists will show their paintings, photographic work and installations dealing with porn. Additionally "Achtung FSK 18 - Vol 2" presents performances, music, literature and lectures around the subject of pornography.
"Achtung FSK 18 -Vol.2" is curated by Nelja Stump and Karin Kruse and the exhibition approaches porn from a variety of positions. From a feminist point of view pornography has had at least three different readings:
Pornography is part of male culture and degrades women to become objects and commodities.
Pornography is an accepted - but still not very much respected - way for women to express and use their bodies.
Pornography gives women the possibility to communicate female sexuality by producing, making, acting in and promoting pictures of pornography on their own.
In addition to the feminist focus the exhibition will comprise a variety of different gender positions such as the "traditional" heterosexual view as well as homosexual and transgender ones.

In zehn ausgewählten Bildern aus 2005-2007 mixt Hubertus Leischner fantastischen Realismus mit pornografischer Poesie zu bizarren Traumwelten. Die großformatigen Mischtechniken werden auf Leuchtkästen in einem abgedunkelten Galerietrakt präsentiert und untermalt von Klangcollagen, die Robert Mayer zu den Bildern komponiert hat.
Die "Romantik-Pop-Atmoshäre" von Leischners Bildern mildert ihre sexuelle Reizattacken etwas ab. Zu übersehen sind sie trotzdem nicht. Denn Leischner betreibt Pornografie auf künstlerischer Ebene. Im Gegensatz zur reinen Pornografie, die Selbstzweck ist, ist Sex bei ihm jedoch erzählerisches Mittel und nicht der alleinige Inhalt.
Doch Vorsicht - Sex lockt! Hat sich ein Betrachter einmal in die Bildwelten hinein locken lassen, wird er nicht selten mit den Abgründen seiner eigenen Lust konfrontiert. Er muss feststellen, einen Köder geschluckt zu haben, dessen Haken es zu verdauen gilt.
Hubertus Leischner, geb. 1967 in Bonn, studierte an der FH Düsseldorf und Köln Kommunikationsdesign und Illustration. Nach dem Studium entwickelte er seine freie Kunst zunächst neben Tätigkeiten als Art Director und Illustrator für Medien, Kultureinrichtungen und Werbeagenturen (Men's Health, Penthouse Magazin, Spiegel Reporter, WDR Köln, Konzerthaus Berlin, K2 Inline Skates, Jung von Matt, BBDO ...), bevor er sich für eine sinnverwandtere Arbeit zu seinem künstlerischen Hauptthema entschied. Seit 2001 führte er in über 250 Pornofilmen von INFLAGRANTI FILM Berlin Regie. Hubertus Leischner lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
Künstlerische Entwicklung: Bis 1998 klassische Zeichnungen und Gemälde, Bilderbücher für Erwachsene. Seit 1998 Arbeit am Computer-Zeichentableau, Experimente mit Computer spezifischen Strukturen, "Comic-Style" (1.Preis der Nordische Comic Art - Hamburg 2001). Herauskristallisierung von Erotik und Sexualität als Hauptthema, bzw. Bestandteil der Bilderzählung. Seit 2001 "Fotografik" (Kombination aus Digital-Fotgrafie und Zeichnung/Malerei), "Fantastischer Realismus", Fokussierung auf sexuelle und erotisch-pornografische Themen.
Das Hardcoremovie "Küche - Kiste - Bett" (Inflagranti Film Berlin) von Hubertus Leischner hat am 27.10.09 im Kant 1 Premiere.
