"My mother conceived me on a sofa of Beograd few decades ago. She gave birth in pain (as previously ordered). Immediately it was evident that I was not the ideal baby…or maybe yes? However, I fulfilled any gender expectations. My "rare property" made my childhood difficult. During my adolescence I joined a Circus tour, the Amazing Alexey Borovic Circus and a second life began. In a world of freaks all of us were normal, but Mr. Borovic, the impresario. In A.B. Circus I found love (the Fairly Girl), a family and friends. I found the identity that the bigger world has been stolen…there…among people with "rare properties" so far away from mine and, thus, so closed …". Anonymous
Yashima Mishto is living and working in Berlin since 2003. He started to investigate photography since 1994, mainly focusing his interest in the Eroticism's deep waters. The exclusive collaboration with amateur models let him describe the hidden sexuality, the exhibitionism, the censured fantasies of a metropolitan culture far away from the sexual maturity. After the first misadventures in 2002 Yashima became a woman, played by one of his most intimate models during vernissages and other public events. In 2007, wishing that times might be mature to effort his art without any sexist preconceived belief, he dressed again his male identity. Yashima is fighting the overbearing censorship which affects both male and female, which acts before any gender discrimination, chaining the human being with any kind of sexual inclination,. Investigating the Erotism as communication media he's trying to show the engine below. Selected exhibitions in Italy (Bologna 2005, Rome 2006, Messina 2006) and Germany (Berlin 2003-2006); then, Berliner-Liste 2006, Festival of European Photography (Reggio Emilia, Italy 2007).

Opening Performances:
The gallery becomes itself the living representation of the protagonist's freak life, through the performance of "Maledictus Freak Circus", a collective of body-artists, piercers and performers that met in Berlin and decided to converge their experiences into a freak circus. In time of coming apocalypse, they try to get used to the social communication breakdown looking trough holes into their fractal identity, where more skin means less body, reducing the mass to expand the surface.
