"Was dann folgte, entzieht sich jeder Beschreibung"
16.10.2007. 14h. Ankunft im Ritz-Carlton am Potsdamer Platz, Security-Chef Keck und das AMT.
„Hatten Sie eine angenehme Anreise?"
„Ja, sehr angenehm!"
„Woher kommen Sie denn?"
„Aus Berlin".
Ratloser Blick der Ritz-Chef-Concierge, der rasch dem Service-Lächeln weicht. Wir werden nach oben gebracht, in den Salon der „Club-Etage". Eine „herrliche Erfrischung" wird uns gereicht, ein feucht-warmer Waschlappen, dazu wahlweise Sekt oder Kaffee.
Auch der Ausblick aus unserer für das Bed-In gemieteten Suite soll herrlich sein. Uns begrüßt ein Besen direkt vor dem Fenster, auf einem Baugerüst stehend, das jeden Blick in die Urbanität verwehrt. Dann beginnt lautstarkes Bohren direkt neben dem Zimmer, das bis abends nicht mehr aufhört. Die Vorhänge lassen sich elektrisch schließen.
Wir gehen Sekt holen im Potsdamer Shopping Center, das ähnlich billig-edel glitzert wie das Ritz. Der Kühlschrank unserer Suite wird bis oben hin vollgestopft – wir müssen ihn gewaltsam zudrücken und mit Gaffer-Tape verschließen. Dann legen wir unsere goldenen Friedensanzüge an.
Inzwischen kommen auch die anderen: Die beiden Garridos als Security in schwarzen Anzügen, unser Pressechef Draheim, ebenfalls im Anzug, mum Entertainment mit Videokameras, Volker Roloff fotografiert. Lucy Links und Mirko Erbe drehen mit HD. Sektkorken knallen – das Amt liegt schon im Bett und demonstriert für den Weltfrieden. Ein netter junger Mann vom Tagesspiegel und TIP nehmen es zu Protokoll.

A huge pirate rabbit will ship along the river Spree during the nights of Berlin Porn Festival and CUM2CUT. It will be a romantic alternative for all the couples who are tired to make love in their apartments or, even worse, on the seats of their own cars... The big rabbit's belly will be available for all people who will like to spend there some time of passion, and exhibit themselves in front of the video-cameras of the couple of Italian artists ConiglioViola. The green colour of the rabbit's belly will consent the artists to execute, in a second moment, the chroma-key on all the video footage, this way the real background of all the erotic performances of the volunteers will be substituted with virtual and surreal sceneries.
Pirate Rabbit became very famous in Italy for having attacked the last Biennale in Venice: it crossed the whole Canale della Giudecca on board a large raft, as far as the Giardini, the official venue of the Biennale, and from there it fired 52 cannon shots at the buildings of the Biennale.

ConiglioViola
ConiglioViola (in Italian: "Violet Rabbit") is one of the best-known and appreciated Italian new media art groups. Created 2001 by Fabrice Coniglio and Andrea Raviola, it eclettically moves over all areas of contemporary art scene: videoart, digital paintings, photography, net.art, interactive installations, multimedia theatre, performances and electronic music. This total eclecticism derives from a reflection about digital medium intended as meta-language through which is possible to liquefy the borderline between the different artistic genres and merge consolidated forms, styles and techniques. This consents ConiglioViola to elaborate a project and then to decline it into all possible artistic shapes, reaffirming this way a rinascimental vision of the artist as well as imposing itself as a sort of label. ConiglioViola conceives its artistic projects with a strong attitude to be spectacular and popular: to go beyond the close borders of Contemporary Art and to join an audience as large as possible, restoring the role of Art as a collective phenomenon and festive celebration. These features are symbolized by the logo of the group that represents a Vitruvian Rabbit.
ConiglioViola presented, so far, three "one-rabbit" exhibitions. It represented the Piedmont Region with the "The Passion. Rabbit" installation that quickly became a symbol of the entire event. It has won awards for its web art and video art, and it has participated in several radio and television programs and collective art exhibitions in Italy and abroad. It has worked with the IRAA Theatre in Australia; with the artist Andres Serrano; and with the Italian rock diva Loredana Bertè, with the fashion designers Vivienne Westwood and Etro.
In 2005 it started the production of the colossal-project "Recuperate Le Vostre Radici Quadrate" starting point of a multimedia live show, an anthology of 21 videos, a collection of photographs and installations and an audio CD. In 2007 ConiglioViola was the author of a spectacular Pirate attack on the 52nd Biennale in Venice. Again in 2007 it was the protagonist of the discussed exhibition in Milan about Art and Homosexuality, where ConiglioViola presented the shocking work "Ecce Trans" that was censored provoking great clamour.
