Laurent Benaim (Paris)

Born in 1965, I was first trained and experienced as a professional mainstream photographer. For the last 10 years, I have been working exclusively on my personal production as an author. My work stems from my intense curiosity to explore sensuality, sexuality, and their universes of pleasures and emotions. My wish is to dicover and uncover the intimacy of bodies, which makes them so precious. I work with a diversity of models who share their practises, fantasies, excitements with my camera. My pictures claim the beauty of their practises. My pictures are made out of black and white negative films developed via an arabic gum process, on paper or wood.
